Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides - No Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley

Johnny Depp will be back as Jack Sparrow talking about the fountain of youth and Penelope Cruz. The most curious thing about this one is that it's directed by Rob Marshall, he of the Chicago success and Memoirs of a Geisha and Nine disappointments. Not sure how his bare soundstage aesthetic is really going to translate into a rollicking pirate tale set in the wilds of Florida, featuring zombies and mermaids. Who knows, maybe it could be fun. It's hard to imagine that it could be worst than the last one, At World's End, which was so loud and nonsensical it felt like it was dubbed from the original Swedish. Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are gone, but in are Cruz as a character named Angelica and Deadwood's brilliant Ian McShane as pirate Blackbeard. Geoffrey Rush is in it too, because apparently one summer house in the Cotswalds isn't enough.

Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley will not be returning for this Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Let's see how it will work.
